Get to know KOA Clinic

KOA Clinic was established by Dr.Korn (Konthorn Praneeprachachon), who had experience with eyelid issues and drooping eyelids. After completing his medical education at Siriraj Hospital in 2009, he decided to undergo a double eyelid surgery at a well-known clinic. However, the results did not meet his expectations; his eyelids looked thicker and unnatural. Not long after, he had the opportunity to have corrective surgery on his eyelids in South Korea, which resulted in better outcomes – his eyelids became thinner, more natural-looking, and suited his male features.

Dr. Korn’s curiosity led him to question why the results from the Korean surgery were better than his first experience. This curiosity led him to further his education in ophthalmology at Chulalongkorn University. After becoming an ophthalmologist, he worked at a renowned Korean surgery hospital in Thailand, where he exchanged surgical techniques and ideas with Korean surgeons. He also attended surgical demonstrations and conferences in Korea to gain a deeper understanding of eyelid surgery techniques that produce natural and aesthetically pleasing results.

Throughout his career, Dr. Korn performed various types of eyelid surgeries for patients, both new cases and complex revision cases. He discovered that achieving good results wasn’t solely about having double eyelids; it was about tailoring the surgery to fit each individual’s personality, preferences, and ensuring that the eyes functioned well.

In late 2022, Dr. Korn founded “KOA Clinic” with a vision to advance the field of eyelid surgery and to create natural-looking outcomes. He aimed to help people who desired naturally beautiful eyes and also assist in correcting abnormalities caused by previous surgeries, restoring functionality and aesthetics.
